I have been on the quest for healing and soul-searching
for as long as I can remember.
I have been on the quest for healing and soul-searching for as long as I can remember. Fueled by the need to unload a heavy emotional baggage from a chaotic childhood, but also by an insatiable curiosity, a ravenous appetite for life and a deep knowing that there must be more to life than struggle and pain.
My parents were very young, kids themselves, when I was born and both with a big and burdensome backpack from their own childhoods. I know that they did the best they could and that they loved and love me, but they were too busy with their own struggles to be able to take care of children.

From the age of 7 until I was 14 I lived alone with my father who was abusing alcohol in his way of trying to ease the pain, anxiety and distress that was tormenting him. When I think back I feel so much warmth and love for that little girl who once was me. That little girl who had to grow up quickly and for the bigger part of her childhood had no one to trust and turn to. Of course that leaves traces in a person and it has taken me a long time to start trusting other people and to allow myself to receive love, kindness and support.
But the more I have healed and excavated in myself the more blessings I find and I can honestly say that I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. Because it has led me to where I am now and that is a beautiful place to be.
Naturally it wasn’t all pitch black, it seldom is, and one thing that I remember with great joy is me and my best friend roaming the forests where we lived without a worry in the world and often accompanied by horses. And I have always found comfort, strength and a sense of solace in nature. I still do. Also, since I know in my bones what feels like to feel completely free I have been on the hunt for that too and I often find that freedom when I move to music.
This lifelong quest has lead me to explore a vast variety of healing and soul-searching modalities such as yoga, dance, free movement, meditation, creative arts, different therapies, sound healing, shadow work, dream work, trauma healing, shamanic practises, astrology and much more.
Yoga is one thing that has been a lifesaver and my first encounter with that was a total kick-start at a 10 day silent meditation retreat in Thailand more than 25 years ago. Then and there I got a taste of the inner sanctuary that is always available to us no matter the outer circumstances. Since then I have continued studying and practising and have explored many different styles and traditions during the years.
So, what I offer you here is the distillation of all my experiences and everything I have explored during these 25 years.
What it means to walk this earth as a soul in a human body and how you can turn difficulties into opportunities, pain into beauty and strength, struggle into ease, fear into trust and how to become your own parent and best friend. Because most of us have an inner child who is screaming for our love and care.
One of the ways I have tended to the needs of my own my little girl has been through sharing playful and creative yoga with children of all ages and this is something I want to offer to adults as well. We can heal through play, through joy, through exploring movement and stillness with open minds and open hearts and through giving space to our inherent curiousity and sense of wonder. I have seen it happen so many times in the Kid’s Yoga trainings and workshops I have facilitated over the years.
And, another thing, all of you is welcome here. No need to change or adjust anything. There is plenty of space.
I would be honoured to support you on your journey.
Connect and we’ll take it from there.
